The Details

  • Based on a real-life engagement that went off-track.

  • Learners watch videos and explore materials relevant to key moments, discuss issues that arose, and offer management and mitigation strategies that might have helped to avoid and/or resolve the issues. As the story unfolds, new issues are revealed to further challenge participants’ thinking.

  • Questions raised do not have correct answers. Learners weigh their responses, justify their solutions, and compare their ideas to an expert’s. Experts share real-world stories about issues and consequences.

  • At the end, learners sketch out ideas for an effective data analytics engagement lifecycle and discuss how it differs from traditional engagements.
